Objective:
- To represent the Airline in a professional and knowledgeable way to travel trade partners and commercial companies (dedicated role)
- To increase revenue and market share on the airline route network
- To maintain current and secure new sales accounts
- To increase awareness of airline to the trade and public sectors
- To meet, daily, weekly & annual Targets set
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and increasing revenue and market share
- Maintaining regular contact with travel trade partners (TMC) and commercial companies
- Visiting TMC’s to present airline product information and training to front line staff
- Interpreting revenue statistics, data and providing statistical reports
- Identifying new sources of revenue from UK corporate travel trade
- Recommend commercial terms to win new accounts
- Reporting and reacting to market conditions
- Provide reports/feedback on the Airline’s competitive position in the market place
- Preparing regular sales activity reports
- Represent the airline at trade shows and exhibitions
- Participate in Corporate Working Group functions and meetings, if required
- Maintaining and increasing revenue and market share to meet annual targets
- Maintaining regular contact with travel trade partners and commercial companies
- Provide pricing and fare analysis for the client in the UK market
- Monitoring competitor activity in the market and provide feed-back to General Manager
- Support Management team in Marketing and all sales-related functions.
Education:
- Educated to A level standard or equivalent
- Excellent standard of written and spoken English
- Excellent standard of numeric skills
- Good standard of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience within Travel Corporate Account Management is essential
- Existing relationships with key TMC partners
- Knowledge and proven success within the corporate market
- Knowledge of airline GDS and distribution channels
- Knowledge of airline fare structures, Corporate Net Fares etc
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point programmes
- Knowledge of general airline procedures
- Ability to interpret fare and ticketing rules
- Negotiating skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of MIDT& BSP an advantage
- Good understanding of Revenue Management & Dashboard reports
