ENGAGING THE AIRLINE COMMUNITY IN THE UK
The Board of Airline Representatives in the UK (BAR UK) is the industry association representing the majority of airlines operating to the UK.
We present a vital international perspective of the industry at a local level and are highly involved in any issues that collectively affect our members, including policy, regulation, airport capacity, environment, taxation and charges.
A primary focus is on tackling issues that add costs and complexity for airlines and passengers and we are actively engaged and keep our members connected with a host of stakeholders, including senior government ministers, government departments, regulators and airport operators.
Close cooperation is maintained with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other trade associations.
We have also become a first point of contact for airline jobs and airline careers, connecting a relevant target audience with airline vacancies in the UK.
BAR UK adheres strictly to anti-trust legislation and does not involve itself in any debate or communication on commercial matters or policies concerning pricing, agency remunerations or competition between members.
