Dale Keller DipM ACIM - Chief Executive

Dale Keller BAR UK

Dale Keller was appointed Chief Executive of The Board of Airline Representatives in the UK (BAR UK) in November 2012, with a career spanning over 35 years in the aviation, travel and tourism sector. His primary role is presenting a vital international perspective of the airline industry at a local UK level through close engagement with government ministers, departments and industry stakeholders.

He currently represents the interests of over 70 airlines on the recently formed Aviation Council and previously he was instrumental in guiding the airline community through the unprecedented crisis caused by the Covid pandemic. His engagement with the UK Government included sitting on the International Travel Expert Steering Group (ESG) and presenting industry positions through engagement with the Global Travel Taskforce.

He commenced his aviation career as part of the start-up team at Ansett New Zealand and since moving to the UK in 1990, the New Zealand born professional has held several travel retail roles, including London Flight Centres. A return to airline management commenced with China Airlines (CAL), followed by eight years with Air Malta, where as UK General Manager he was instrumental in restructuring the airline's UK operations for Malta's 2004 entry into the EU. Following a period at Air Mauritius as Regional Manager UK, in 2007 he joined a management buyout of specialist aviation and travel consultancy KTA Public Relations.

He is intensely passionate about aviation at every level and is an avid supporter of the significant benefits of a strong and sustainable aviation sector to the UK.

Dale holds a diploma in Marketing from the London College of Communication.

 

 

Audrey Wilson-Doyle - Executive Assistant


Audrey joined BAR UK in July 2015 and has extensive airline and administrative experience. The Executive Assistant role is part time and incorporates administrative functions and provides support to the Chief Executive.
