Airline Membership

BAR UK ensures that members’ views and opinions are heard at high and influential levels, something that is beyond the ability of most members.

This is because BAR UK is actively engaged at high levels within:

  • The government and its relevant Departments
  • The CAA
  • Airport operators

BAR UK can provide the time and commitment, and expertise, to respond to the government and regulatory consultations that affect airlines, which most members cannot.

Full time BAR UK Secretariat which

  • Is experienced and professional
  • Engages with Government on behalf of Members
  • Engages with regulators on behalf of Members
  • Lobbies on behalf of Members
  • Responds fully to all major air transport consultations
  • Liaises with airport AOCs and Consultative Committees
  • Publishes BAR UK newsletters (normally six times per year)
