START... Paul Ellis of British Airways co-opted to the Board of BAR UK Ltd. Paul Ellis, General Manager Airports Policy for British Airways, has been co-opted as a Director to serve on the Board of BAR UK, the trade association for scheduled airlines. Paul joined British Airways as a Graduate Trainee in 1977. His experience has included flight operations and engineering and he was responsible for managing British Airways contribution to the Terminal 5 enquiry. His current job involves him in work for the 30 year review of airport policy, which the Government recently announced and he chairs the London Airports Consultative Committee for IATA. He also works with the Information and Emissions group of the Association of European Airlines. The BAR UK Board have also appointed Paul as Vice Chairman of the organisation. BAR UK currently has 92 scheduled airlines in membership. ...ENDS For further information contact:
