Two new directors have been appointed to the Board of BAR UK, due to resignations caused by career changes and changed responsibilities.

• Mr Bob Schumacher (Continental Airlines) has been co-opted to the Board, succeeding Mrs Christine Ourmières (representing Northwest Airlines), and
• Mr Samir Risheq (Royal Jordanian Airlines) has been co-opted to replace Mr Peter Dunkin (Etihad Airways)

Chairman, Bob Atkinson of Air Canada, said 'On behalf of the Board, and all of our members, we are sorry to see Peter and Christine leave us, but extend a warm welcome to Bob and Samir.

'The Board looks forward to their contribution in meeting the many, and ever-challenging, times ahead.'
